Kickstart to School

We encourage your child to attend Kickstart for 6 - 10 weeks before they start school where possible. 

During this time, children will be introduced to our space and other children who will be attending school with them.  They will also get to know some of the rules and routines they will encounter when they start school.

Kickstart is taken by our Deputy Principal, Angela Donlon, and Year 1 Team Leader, Adele Moree, in Room 2 on a Wednesday, which is at the front of the school, from 1.45pm until 2.30pm.  Your child’s start date can be arranged at the school office.

Whilst the children are busy, Rachel Weinberg, our principal will chat to parents about other things that are important to your child’s education.

 

School Visits

Your child will have 2 school visits on the two Fridays before they start school.  These are on a Friday morning from 9.00am until 10.55am.  They will need half a sandwich or a piece of fruit for a brain break.  An adult will need to stay with them during this time.
